Good Day, I Had Blood Gushing Out Of My Teeth

Good day, I had blood gushing out of my teeth while sleeping. I didn't noticed this until when I woke up, only to spit and noticed blood in my saliva and sputum. I quickly ran to bathroom to rinse my mouth and thenbrush. I realised that I've swallowed some blood while spleeping because many times I pass sputum I used to have small blood deposit in it. Is there any side effect on swallowed blood?
