Good Day Doc! My Daughter A 9 Yrs Old Had

Good day doc! My daughter a 9 yrs old had a fever for 5 days she had drinking an antibiotic for 4 but still she had a fever that is why i admitted her to the hospital. The doctor said she is positive in typhoid. He had given my daughter ceftriaxole and need to finish the medication to be cured. If she already finish her medication does it mean that she is already positive? Is it also safe for my other child because i am so frighten that my other child be sick by typhoid also? Pls help me
