Good Evening. I Had A Very Bad Cough With Wheezing

Good evening. I had a very bad cough with wheezing and mucous. The dr ordered a chest X-ray and gave me an inhaler which helped clear up my congestion. The chest X-ray said that I might have ILD and I am to see a pulmonologist. Could there be another reason for theses findings since I am much better now.
