My friend only drinks gatorade when we ride our bikes. I told her she need to also drink water during the rides and she does not. On long rides, she ends up with a urinary tract infection. I told her that just drinking a sports drink without water may be causing a low volume state and making her not urinate enough resulting in a urinary tract infection. Was I right?
