Good Evening, My Period Is Late And I Want To

Good evening,
My period is late and I want to take primolut nor 5 mg to induce blood flow.
Isn't this what primolut is used for?
What if I take this medication and find out later on that I am pregnant. Will it cause miscarriage or will it have abnormalities in the baby?
