Good Evening My Son Passed Away In November Last Year
Good evening
My son passed away in November last year after being hospitalised for 7 weeks.He was a 35 year old fitness fanatic,playing regular football,training and swimming.
He came home one evening and said that he had aching shoulders and calf muscles .
After visits from 4 different G.Ps who thought he had either influenza or they did not hold any blood tests until he had been ill with spiking temperature.After 2 weeks at home I called an ambulance which rushed him in HRI.
They continued to test and monitor him with no apparent viruses
After treating him with Prednisolene for approx 1 week he passed away in IC U in HRI
which resulted in Multiple organ failure and Cardio myopathy.
We are devastated as a family and still coming to terms with his passing ,after being a very fit 35 year old sportsman.
