Good Evening, My Sense Of Taste Seems To Have Changed

Good evening, my sense of taste seems to have changed and I have a metallic taste most of the time. My nose is very sensitive, and I have frequent bouts of sneezing and my nose can stream for no reason. Any ideas. My dentist says I have mild gingivitis and I have been using mouth wash, but have stopped now, as it made my tongue smart and my tongue is quite blotchy.
