Good Morning To You My Son Was Given The Rota

Good morning to you my son was given the rota virus vaccine when he was 6weeks old in june and and the next dose was not given on schedule it was in august when he was 16 weeks old.I wanted to know if he is protected since we are told to do so before child is 6 months old or do i have to give another dose.
