Got A Bug Bite On Back Of Hand That Initially

Got a bug bite on back of hand that initially developed a patch of tiny nodules that also was extremely itchy, and my index finger and thumb on that hand went numbish and sort of paralytic. I then placed a poultice of plantain leaf on it. then it got infected. My whole hand swelled a bit and sort of went paralytic and numb ( I do have use, but is very much effort to use) then the end of my thumb developed extreme soreness/sensitivity. Now the numbness has spread up to my elbow - and I seem to be getting more numbness symptoms in my other hand and arm - I live on a bushy acreage and do lots of yard/garden work. Have no identification of what bit me... My family doctor gave me an appointment for Sept 15th...
