Got My Tonsils Removed Wednesday And It Is Now Monday.

Got my tonsils removed Wednesday and it is now Monday. I'd had peritonsillar abscess.The back of my throat has red/yellow bumps and there's a painful and uncomfortable lump behind my tongue kind of by the hole (where my tonsils used to be) on the right side. I hack up (cough up) this brownish phlegm. And the lump of meat or tissue or whatever it is burns and makes swallowing hurt. I keep getting told by friends and family that it's probably the scab falling off, but i looked at it and it looks like a veiny lump of meat. Could this be a swollen lymph node? Or another abcess? Or just scar tissue?
