Grandson (11 Years Old) Just Started Having A Nosebleed While

Grandson (11 years old) just started having a nosebleed while playing a game on his iPad. Currently have him applying gentle pressure to the soft part of his nose with his head tilted slightly downward. I have a bit of cotton in the nostril involved. Cannot apply ice on or near the nose as he has sensitivities to such things. Blood stream (which was not profuse, but a steady trickle) is almost stopped. After the bleeding stops completely, should I keep him up for a while (upright) before he actually goes to bed for the evening? If so, for how long? Thank you. YYYY@YYYY
