Greetings! I am a PA who is treating a pt who has mild L pelvic tenderness, white thin DC w/ odor, sx of UTI ( urgency, frequency, mild dysuria. Am doing UA dip now but clinic not set up for paps/cultures. Was wondering of Bactrim DS would take care of UTI and possible PID? Will also give pyridium for dysuria. Pt stated on BCPs and has only one partner. From Australia and never had pap.
