Greetings Doctors, I Have A Deformed Xiphoid Process That Pushed
Greetings Doctors,
I have a deformed Xiphoid Process that pushed the proximate skin perpendicular to the vertical chest a hook type shape that I had about 1.5 cm removed about 15 years ago by arthroscopy. It would catch as I would slide off of anything sliding up or down my chest. It have lost some fat and I see it and feel the asymmetrical surfaces beneath the skin from its removal. I would like to have a final 1 cm removed so my chest is smooth and not having the xiphoid protrude again. Did it grow? What is this surgery called? Is it safe to do a second time? I am athletic and use my abdominal in all my outdoor activities work and play. I would like to receive what ever advise can be provided and remain private about it please. Thank you very much for your time!
