Greetings Dr. Rynne, I Have What Is Today Called Fibromyalgia.

Greetings Dr. Rynne,
I have what is today called fibromyalgia. When I was diagnosed in 1983 (3 years after onset) my Internest called my condition "Connective tissue inflammation", with my lungs being the main target. It has since spread to many areas of my body. I also have nerve damage in my SI Joint, with chronic damage in my lumbar, L 2-3 through L 4-5 and my SI joint, along with nerve damage in my left shoulder.
I also suffer for extreme tiredness. I am on Prednisone, but there are side effects (swelling the worst - my skin cracked open and fluid oozed). My question: Is there anything I can do to alleviate the inflammation and my tiredness without taking Prednisone? Thank you so much. Mary Jane Barnhardt
