Greetings, I Currently Have A Bartholin Abscess That Started As

Greetings,

I currently have a Bartholin abscess that started as a cyst 6 days ago and turned into an abscess 4 days ago. I am having trouble sitting, walking, and, laying down comfortably because of pain. The abscess was the size of a golf ball and now has ruptured on it's own as of today. In addition there has been this excruciating pain that is at the site of the abscess and is traveling from the same side as the abscess now up to the right side groin area along with stinging. Are these signs of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, or a sever infected abscess? As well as is it now time to visit the E.R.? I have taken Tylenol 500 mg and Doxycycline with no relief.
