Greetings! My Brother (54) Is On Several Mads For Extreme
Greetings! My brother (54) is on several mads for extreme pain and spinal degeneration from surgery 5 years ago. Gabapentin 3600mg/day; Motrin1800mg/day; Tramadol 300mg/day and Topirate 200mg/day.
He is not doing well and I have read the last med is linked to many symptoms he is showing: depression, somnolence, weakness, osteoarthritis (acidosis) liver disease, renal stress and kidney failure. I would like to see him weaned off this and try DLPA (amino acid) for pain mgt. Your thoughts? Thank You. Renee
