Greetings, Thanks In Advance For Your Advise... I Am A

Greetings, thanks in advance for your advise... I am a 70 year old male that has been using 30 mg of Temazepam (nightly for sleep issues) over one year...After I was habituated in the use of Temazepam we discovered I suffer from sleep apnea...I'm now use a CPAP machine which alleviates lack of O2 problems which, in turn, historically, triggered waking up frequently... To complicate matters I have mid-level CKD which translates into frequent urination once I'm prone (sleep times) since a feature of CKD is the inability for one's body to process fluids efficiently when one is walking/sitting... I have as of 120 days ago I embarked upon an effort to titrate down I have since been using only 15mg. per night...However one quirk of the drug (whether @ 15mgs. or 30mgs.0 is that it seems to automatically only provide 5.5 hours of sleep, regardless of efforts to fall back to sleep..As of 12 days ago I halted all use of the drug and enjoyed 3-4 nights of reasonably uninterrupted sleep. Now, for the last 4 nights my sleep has become unpredictable (I'm being careful not to imbibe in coffee after mid-day) Now on the 13th day I am feeling agitated and, therefore am wondering whether I am in fact experiencing withdrawals...odd that is is so delayed?
