Gynecologist Question: I Recently Started Seeing Someone New After Being

Gynecologist Question:

I recently started seeing someone new after being in a relationship for 13 years. I went to the gynecologist last week and had the normal tests done everything came back fine except for a yeast infection. I also went and had blood-work done but I haven't got the result back yet. My partner is larger than I was used to. At some points I told him that he was hurting me so we stopped having sex. I got a yeast infection after 3 times of having sex with him. Also, I noticed after I finished the yeast infection meds and had sex again i felt pain when I went pee. I looked around down there and saw what looked to be a cut or a tear. I was wondering what it is and how to treat it? I'm also concerned that it could be something more serious like herpes. Seeing as it is a cut i am thinking that it is a tear from sex. If it was herpes wouldn't it have blistered first and would there be more than one? How can I tell if it is a tear or something more serious. I do plan on going to my doctor on Monday.
