HI, I Am 21 Male. I Have Tonsillitis And Today

HI, I am 21 male. I have tonsillitis and today is the 5th day. It is also my 5th day taking antibiotics amoxiclub 3x a day. Via visual inspection, there is no improvement in terms of tonsils size and pus coverage. But i am now able to eat soft food like scramble egg and soup. Should i be worried that my recovery is slow compared to most people? What happens if i have taken a week of the antibiotics and i still have tonsillitis?
