HI, I Am 5 Weeks Pregnant And Got A Call

HI, I am 5 weeks pregnant and got a call from my sexuality health clinic telling me I have a bacterial infection, they didn't explain what it was so I assumed it was a yeast infection. I went and bought monistat 7 day cream to cure yeast infections and now I'm reading that it could cause miscarriage and it's not a yeast infection, please help!
