HI I Had Severe Periodontal Disease For At Least 20

HI I had severe periodontal disease for at least 20 years. A month ago I had my 8 remaining upper teeth removed and a full top plate. I noticed today that my fingernails have grown and are quite hard. My fingernails have always been weak and I've never been able to grow them. I have been searching the internet for improved health after eradication of periodontal disease via teeth removal, but I can't find anything. I am just wondering if there is a link, because I'm quite shocked at how healthy my fingernails are and if there are any other improved health benefits I might look forward to. Could you please advise?
