HI, I Was Diagnosed With Hpv A Few Years Ago

HI, I was diagnosed with hpv a few years ago but recently my GYN insisted that I no longer have it but there appears to be a genital wart its been there for months and was even there when I went to the last visit and was told I didn't have anything, are there any other reasons for having a wart or does it take time to go away?
