HI I Went To The Er With Lots Of Burping

HI I went to the er with lots of burping and had normal test and ct scan of pancreas and the dr. put me on pantoprazole sod 40mg for a month to settle my stomache but now the burping has stopped but I wake yp feeling nausatyed and when I eat it goes away. I have been diagonized with mild gerd with a gastrogolist and he says watch what I eat. I stay away from all spicy foods gas producing foods and when I get this it takes me a while to relieve this. my pr. dr. said to take succufrat 1 hour before I eat to coat my stomach. I am so confused. what do I do?
