HI. Is It Possible For Someone Who Was Diagnosed With

HI. Is it possible for someone who was diagnosed with Bipolar when a teenager to have been misdiagnosed and it actually should have been ADHD? I have been doubting my diagnosis lately. I tried Adderall and it works very well for me. I have since come off my lithium (about a month ago) on my own but am still taking my seroquel to help me sleep and I am not having any mood swings. I can think clearly and can accomplish much more now. The thing is that my PCP doesn't want to prescribe adderall anymore for me and my psychiatrist is in a group that will not prescribe that. I have real trouble talking to my psychiatrist for two reasons, I have a hearing problem and she doesn't speak English well. I am looking for another doctor but am having trouble because there are not many in my area that takes my insurance. I have been taking adderall on and off since last year and it helps me in so many ways but the biggest thing adderall does is quiets my mind from obsessive thoughts which nothing has ever done that for me before. Could I have been misdiagnosed as a teenager?
