HI, While Participating In Jiu-Jitsu A Little Over A Week

HI,

While participating in Jiu-Jitsu a little over a week ago, my neck/throat area got a little bruised. Afterwards it hurt to swallow and it felt like there was a lump in the back of my throat. Since then the pain has slowly subsided but I still feel a lump in the back of my throat.

I believe that an inflamed epiglottis is causing the feeling of a lump in the back of my throat. Shouldn't the inflamation have gone down by now? If not, will taking an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen help reduce the inflammation?
