HI My Husban Ran Out Of His Medication Called Hydrochlorothiazide

HI my husban ran out of his medication called Hydrochlorothiazide for blood pressure, but has been laid off from work so he has to wait to get money to see his doctor and get his med.. I had gotten Benicar HCT from Mexico is it ok he takes it because he has been off his med for a month now and his blood pressure is going high again.. I'm very worried..
