HI Want To Know If I Can Take Black Cohost

HI want to know if I can take black cohost root pills that I just finished my last round of chemo treatment last Wednesday July 20, 2016. At this point, I am desperate to find a way to cool me down at night because it gets so bad at night that I didn't get enough sleep at all. Should I consult my OB/GYN doctor and see what he have to say?
