Had A Bad Fall That Dislocated My Left Shoulder And

Had a bad fall that dislocated my left shoulder and tore the labrum 300° and messed up the clavical. After surgery I was off work for eight months before returning to full duty. Have had pain since then in my shoulder and arm and hands. Just had a emg/ncs done and was tols there was some. Old scarring to 4 or5 root nerves in my neck. If the fall caused these scars of these nerves could they be considered old after a year after the accident?
