Had A Dry Cough For Over A Week No Blocked

Had a dry cough for over a week no blocked nose,ribs sore from coughing. Have reflux which i take one Lansoprazole on a morning. I feel something is collecting in the base of my throat and all I can hear is crackling in my throat and when I lay down it is twice as bad. Any advice would be very welcome. Regards Sheila Cox
