Had A Hysterectomy And Hernia Surgery Done Together, Early Last

Had a hysterectomy and hernia surgery done together, early last year. My belly button (hernia area) has started swelling and sticking out. My sister says it looks like my innie is trying to be an outie, and it gets hard with pain. Should I be worried. Have an appt with my doctor tomorrow.
