Had An Epidural Steroid Shot In Cervical Area . Problem

Had an epidural steroid shot in cervical area . Problem is where IV was put during procedure and med that was used forearm is sore and tender. Has been 4 days not much improvement. Told to put warm compress and see if helps. Thought may be that the med was not diluted enough when administered and if not better to do a doppler for tissue damage Does this sound plausible.
