Had Episiotomy And Had Stitches. I Am 6 Weeks Postpartum.

Had episiotomy and had stitches. I am 6 weeks postpartum. Saw doctor who said I was healed and could have intercourse. Had Intercourse and it was uncomfortable and a little painful. After sex I noticed I had very light bloody discharge. Later I had small amounts of bright red blood coming from the episiotomy site. Could it have ripped open? Do I need to call my doctor and is there anything the doctor will do? There is discomfort there now.
