Had Heartburn Last Night, I Went To Take A Small

Had heartburn last night, I went to take a small swallow of vinegar, I've done this before-OH MY GOSH, THE BURN WAS SO PAINFUL & CHOKING. Today I have a sore throat. I do clear my throat a lot, have a feeling of mucus always at the back of my throat. I have issues with rice and a few other foods not going down, as if they've built up towards the base of my esapagus and now I am pushing it out with my throat muscles. Do I consider this serious or just do antacids and continue eating small meals etc?
