Had Marsupialization Of Bilateral Bartholin Cysts2 Days Ago. Area Is

Had marsupialization of bilateral bartholin cysts2 days ago. Area is very bruised and swollen discharge of blood can be observed though not sure from where exactly as everything is so swollen.i have been applying ice to area but swelling does not reduce. I am wondering if this is normal? I don't have pain or much feeling at all around the entire area. Taking ibuprofen and Tylenol/codeine alternating between the two every 4 hours. I have nothin a bowel movement since day of the surgery and I am wondering if that is normal as well or a side effect of medication? Is it safe for me to take a laxative ?
