Had Sore Throat Only On Right Side Of Mouth. At

Had sore throat only on right side of mouth. At first it was under my tonsil that hurt, now I have formed a swoll lump on my soft palate, pains to swallow, yet my throat or tonsil is no longer sore. It's been 10 days since this started. Ibuprofen helps lesson the pain. Is this some sort of infection? Never had this before. Thanks.
