Had Unpertected Sex Last Night When I Used The Bathroom

Had unpertected sex last night when I used the bathroom then next day I could feel something hanging from me when I looked there was a long piece of discharge (egg white looking) hanging from my vaginal area is this normal?? It only happened that one time throw out the day but was having some cramped pain on my right ovarie side.
