Had Ureteroscopy For Kidney Stone Removal Yesterday (Friday) And Stent

Had ureteroscopy for kidney stone removal yesterday (Friday) and stent started coming out this morning. Can't talk to my Urologist because not on call this weekend. Unpleasant Doctor on call said just wear a pad for constant urine flow or pull it out and maybe have to go to emergency room to have surgery to have reinserted. After it came out about 8 inches I pulled it out. Do I need to go to hospital or what should I watch for?
