Have Had Bilateral Ankle Weakness As Child(age 5) Went Through

Have had bilateral ankle weakness as child(age 5) went through physical therapy ,leg braces,and multiple surgeries on both ankles..unsteady and not stable on feet,multiple falls in past,becoming more frequent ..can't perform old job as X-ray technician ..limited rom on both feet and ankles..can I apply for Ssi and get it
