Have Had Episcleritis In One Eye For A Month Now.

Have had episcleritis in one eye for a month now. Eye doc prescribed an antibiotic eye drop and a steroid eye drop. Have been back to see him twice since then. My eye is still red with a gooey clear substance floating in the lower part of my eye. Have finished the eye drops. Had this last year but it went away in about a week. I called the doc again, he said nothing more he can do. It seems this is way too long for this to last.
