Have Had Long Term Chronic Cough. (Mayo Has Not Even

Have had long term chronic cough. (Mayo has not even been able to provide a diagnosis). I know have a sore spot in my throat, approximately located bottom right side of larynyx. hurts to swallow, speak and I can feel when ice or hot hits it. Have had a long term steroid shot with no effect. Suggestions?
