Have Had Lower Back Spinal Pain And Pain In Left

Have had lower back spinal pain and pain in left buttock for 10 mo. with initial sharp pain down left leg. Now have only the back pain and tingling of lower legs and three toes on each foot are numbish toes (sp). Have been diagnosed with stenosis, but not severe enough for fix, I guess? Now am scheduled for nerve test, but have to WAIT FOR A MONTH! Prescribed with Gabepentin 1000 mg.
ANY THOUGHTS??? should have said numb toes....
