Have Had Pain In My Left Wrist For About 2

Have had pain in my left wrist for about 2 weeks now. It's not every day pain, but when it is bothersome I will feel pain going into my thumb and my hand. when I first noticed the pain, I saw that a vein on the upper part of the side of my wrist is swollen. If I touch it, it doesn't hurt but it feels hard.
