Have You Ever Heard Of Someone Who Smells Things When

Have you ever heard of someone who smells things when given an i.v.? I smell flowers when injected with saline i.v.s, and recently had a Benadryl iv injection that tasted like burnt pennies and felt and smelled like guys working on cars late at night in summer. I've read how some people can taste colors and hear numbers & letters. Is it like that, just a crossed wire somewhere? I've never done drugs or anything, I find it interesting and kind of amusing. Do others have this? :) Thanks!
