Having Pain At My Belly Button. Past Week Or Two

Having pain at my belly button. Past week or two having excessive gas, farting primarily. Appendix removed 7 years ago. Sharp pain felt like my pants button were digging into my belly button. I came home from work and changed. Now wearing sweat pants and still hurts like something pressing on my belly button or pinching it. Do I need to be seen or wait it out?
