Hell, I Recently Became A Fishmonger At A Supermarket Near

Hell, I Recently became a fishmonger at a supermarket near where I live and I have discovered then when I pick up a skate or ray wing I get a rash where it has touched my skin and it becomes itchy and red. I also had a burning sensation in my thumb immediately after it came into contact with some packaging that was surrounding a skate wing delivery. Does this indicate an allergy If so does it sound severe? I am not and never have been allergic to anything else that I am aware of.
