Hello -- I Am 51 And Recently Have This Horrible

Hello -- I am 51 and recently have this horrible dry lips that burn and my mouth feels hot. I had been getting my period up until Sept when my Mother had a stroke and I am experiencing extreme anxiety. I read that Burning Mouth/ lip syndrome can be from hormonal changes. What are your thoughts?
