Hello - I Have Been Diagnosed As Having A Stroke

Hello - I have been diagnosed as having a stroke as opposed to a TIA as my left hand /arm are still not feeling as the should. Both a CT scan on my head and a scan on my neck showed clear. My symptoms were expressive dysphasia and weakness on left side. How can I have had a stroke yet nothing shows on scans.
