Hello - This Morning, I Dropped A Bottle Of Lotion

Hello - this morning, I dropped a bottle of lotion on top of my foot. It wasn't anything very heavy, but hit one of the veins on the top of my foot. The vein immediately (within seconds) swelled up and got pretty hard feeling. Now, the swelling is down and it looks like a regular bruise. It's pretty tender. Did I break a vein? Is there anything I should do about it?
