Hello- My 17 Year Old Daughter Just Came Home From

Hello- my 17 year old daughter just came home from a run and had severe pain in her lower abdomen - she does not have her period currently - we can feel a little lump under her belly button but not all the time - she feels it on both sides - after a warm bath the severe pain subsided- can she have a hernia? What is the treatment if it is?
