Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
4 weeks ago I was having lower left lung grinding sounds and some pain when moving in that area (not too sharp). Saw a doctor who diagnosed a "pleural rub"and took a Z-Pak. My urine was very yellow and I questioned a mild UTI at that doctor visit as well. The UTI dip indicated mild infection. I had an x-ray this week as my lung is still grinding and raspy feeling only on the lower left. I breathe well and do not feel short of breath but can detect the enlarged lower lung area in sensation. and my urine has not cleared. I was exposed to serious mold in an enclosed vehicle twice right before symptoms began, as well as was exposed to a UTI through my long time partner. The results of my x-ray say: "Hyperexpansion of the lungs with mild bilateral chronic interstitial changes. No active infiltrates or pleural effusion. No suspicious pulmonary soft tissue mass or nodule. Possible COPD." My breathing and lungs have been fine prior but both the lung and dark yellow urine started at the same time after exposure to the mold car and the UTI. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
